Resource Management & Procurement Resources Spring 2024 Training

Nutrition Services Division

The California Department of Education, Nutrition Services Division (NSD) has organized a series of free, in-person training sessions on resource management and procurement for School Nutrition Program operators.

Throughout the training, you will acquire valuable knowledge on allowable costs, procurement requirements and resources, internal control practices, documenting time and effort, and nonprogram foods practices.

This is a full-day training scheduled from 8:00am-4:30pm. Training participation is capped at the first 55 registered participants at each location (except, San Juan Unified School District which is capped at the first 45 registered participants) and is limited to school food authorities (SFA) that participate in the National School Lunch Program. The target audience is Food Service Directors, Chief Business Officials, and SFA procurement professionals. Please note that each attendee must register individually with a valid SFA email address. Please only register for one session to allow space for other attendees.
