The State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond invites county and district leaders to share innovative ideas in response to declining enrollment. We are looking for bright ideas to address declining enrollment and bold actions to better support our students.
Responses will be reviewed by the California Department of Education, and selected strategies may be featured at the Summit on Addressing Declining Enrollment on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
This survey takes about 10 minutes. Please respond by Monday, September 21, 2026, at 5 p.m. All questions are required unless marked optional.
