Comprehensive Literacy State Development Grant Funding Results Appeal

The California Department of Education (CDE) must receive an appeal submission through this survey for the Comprehensive Literacy State Development (CLSD) Grant no later than 4:00 p.m., one week after posting of the Intent to Award. Please refer to the CLSD Request for Applications (RFA) web page for more information. Only the lead applicant may submit this survey. Appeals submitted via means other than use of this survey will not be accepted.

Appeals shall be limited to the grounds that the CDE failed to correctly apply the standards for reviewing the application as specified in the RFA. The appellant must file a full and complete written appeal, including the issue(s) in dispute, the legal authority or other basis for the appeal position, and the remedy sought. The CDE will not consider incomplete or late appeals. The appellant may not supply any new information that was not originally contained in the original application. A final decision will be provided in writing within 10 business days from the date that appeals are due to the CDE for this specific RFA.

All questions in this survey are required unless marked as optional. Information entered in the survey beyond the character limits will not be collected by the survey and not reviewed by the CDE.
